Mahalo and gangway for this year's BIG flavor! Named after one of my favorite John Wayne movies (Donovan's Reef) this Rubb is ready to American-punch some Polynesian-flavor into your mouth. If you have never seen the movie, it is good-natured, fun and delightful (just like this Rubb)! 

Fun for the whole family, this Rubb will add a tropical/island taste to whatever you are cooking up! Get ready to say "Aloha" to some 'ono 'ai!)

My favorite way to Rubb: Chill out, cuz! Start the smoker and get ready to take life easy. Grab a pork-shoulder and first coat in pineapple juice. Rubb this blend onto every square inch of the pork and set it on the smoker. Remember to go low and slow and to spray it down with a beef broth and pineapple juice mix every so often. Other than reaching a correct internal temperature, don't stress about the little things. You can't micro-manage meat!
