Well folks, we are almost a month into Fall and only a couple weeks away from Halloween! And we are all 100% ready for the onslaught of trick-or-treaters, right? Yeah, me niether. With a little one in the house now, survival is more on our itinerary as opposed to eating half of the bulk candy bag that we buy for the kiddos.
In years past, we have hosted our friends at our place to help hand out candy. We've had fire pits, corn hole boards and of course the grill going. So I would like to share some of our favorite Halloween inspired meat treats. (I do apologize about not having very many photos, usually they don't last long enough from grill to gullet to get a snapshot!)
Trick or Treat, Rubb Your Meat
Hallo-weiners! Sprinkle a little All Purpose on your hot dogs while grilling.
Ham-booooo-gers! Rubb a little Mesquite on your patties for a spooky good burger.
Spicy Bat Wings! Hint of Heat on some chicken wings (just tell them it's bat meat!)
Dr. Pork-enstien's Meat-ster! Wrap a pork tenderloin in bacon and cover in Sweet Malone's for a meaty monster!
Count Steak-ula! Spread any Rubb on your steak, just remember the count likes his a little bloody!
The concept is pretty simple, just take whatever you are grilling, give it a little Rubbs by Chubbs and name it something silly. Nothing more, nothing less! You see, I'm not into "weirding" my meals out, keep your candy corn away from my chili! We have eight different Rubbs to choose from (two limited runs, which are going fast!) so you should have plenty of flavor and inspiration for your own Halloween cook-out!
Just get ready for what is your own "Night of the Living Dead" when instead of brains, you have zombies coming for you and the grill!
