Thanks to the best (step) dad in the world, I got my hands on some various saltwater fish caught earlier this year out of Louisiana. He had an absolute blast catching them and I've had an absolute blast (or should I say cast?!) cooking them up. This recipe is for Black Drum, a new fish for me to try and fortunately it came out just perfect!
Ingredient
Black Drum
Rubb (Donovan's Beef)
Olive Oil
Minced Garlic
Coat cast iron skillet with olive oil and add a fork-full of garlic
Bring up to heat, once garlic starts to sizzle you should be good
Pat fish pieces dry and liberally apply Rubb (both sides)
Place fish in skillet and cook, flipping every five minutes
I did mine for a total of 15 minutes (so two flips, one side got hit twice)
Let rest and enjoy!
