"It's been a while!" Actually it's been like three years and four months since my last blog post. Good-Gosh! Y'all may have been wondering where the heck we've been. Well good news is we are still here and plan to be for a long time!
2020 was a crazy year all around! We were very fortunate to make it through everything relatively unscathed. We understand though that it wasn't necessarily like that for everyone. 2021 was almost just as crazy as the world seemed to just explode with the conclusion of 2020. Our world definitely changed as we welcomed our second-born into the family in 2021, rounding out and completing our unit. And we marked 2021 with being in business for five years!!
2022 (which we are already more than halfway through?!) seems to be on the same track of just everything being pulled in a dozen different directions at the same time. The nice thing is that we can still take refuge in what matters in this world; family and friends.
We have been continuing to Rubb the Chubb and abstain from Beatin' our Meat as much as possible. If you aren't following us on Instagram or Facebook, make sure you do as we have been keeping up with posts there. Nothing has stopped us from still producing hand-made, small-batch seasonings to enhance your meals and memories. Lord willing, we will also be able to keep our pricing as-is. I'm proud of the fact that I've been able to maintain my costs in this volatile marketplace, as it seems every other day something new has had a price hike. Honestly since starting the company, I think the only pricing that has gone up is for shipping (which I am basically victim to whatever Big Postage out of the East decides to do.) To combat that though, we do have an option for in-store pick up (which you can read more about online when shopping).
So all-in-all (not the fuel from Cars 2) here is our commitment to you: We are going to continue making seriously good seasonings while not taking ourselves too seriously. We are excited for what the future will bring our way and thank you for being a part of it.
