These were inspired by one of them-there inter-web videos, I reckon!
Ingredients
Steak (any kind)
Rubb(s) (Used Sedona Smoke)
Melted Butter (for steak - optional)
Sheet Buns
Cream Cheese
Everything Bagel Seasonings
Onions
Pickles
French Onion
Sliced Cheese
Directions
Fire up smoker (or grill) and get to heat. We set ours to 400-degrees.
Rubb steak, both sides.
Cook to about 10 - 15 degrees short of desired temp and set aside to rest.
Steak will cook up another 5 degrees while resting and then a bit more in the oven later.
Slice sheet buns in half, coat both sides with cream cheese.
Sprinkle Rubb on both halves.
Chop up onions and pickles, put on bottom half of buns.
Slice up steak and add as next layer.
Add french onions on top of steak.
Layer with sliced cheese (we used mix of 4 kinds).
Place top half of sheet buns on top. Drizzle melted button over that and sprinkle on everything bagel seasonings.
Put in oven at 400-degrees and cook for 8 - 12 minutes.
Pull and rest. Then pull-apart and enjoy!
Now you can of course add any kind of dipping sauce you'd like on the side. Most of the ingredients can also be changed out as desired (chicken ILO steak, no french onions, mayo ILO cream cheese, etc.). Just be sure to track what you do so you can replicate it in the future! Please note photos below are in no certain order, much like my thought-process with life. ENJOY!
